Movement Meditation: Dance, Yoga, & Healing


For over 10 yrs now I've been practicing my own form of movement meditation and yoga as a form of body work and healing. It has helped me to develop a profound awareness and mastery of my body. Creating an intimate relationship between mind, body and soul that I have a deep sense of gratitude for in my life. So here is just a little bit of me fire dancing again for the first time in a number of years..I'm pretty rusty as you can see, but that doesn't make it feel any less awesome!

For any of you out there interested in meditation or exercise or dancing but you don't know how to start or not feeling motivated, I seriously encourage you to try this - just start moving your body...experimenting with movement - it will seriously transform your life! I literally have no formal dance training, I just started moving my body one day, feeling connected and listening, creating awareness about alignment and listening to my body and it's needs. It's so easy, you don't need any equipment - just a willingness to open up and express yourself through movement!
